Good Morning LCA Family,
Thank you for your partnership in continuing the eLearning/Remote Learning plans now in effect. Thursday, the Governor and Department of Education State Superintendent announced all schools will be closed for the remainder of this school year. We understand that this announcement raises many questions, and we want to assure you that they are being currently considered. We ask that you please pray for the administration and the board as they plan for the rest of the school year.
We know this is a difficult time with much uncertainty, and we thank you for your patience and prayers. As a school community, God has called us to a new way of fulfilling our mission. We are blessed with teachers who have quickly transitioned from traditional classroom teaching to eLearning. We will continue to advance in academics and care for our community by observing the orders of Governor Holcomb. First and foremost, we will “Live for the Lord” as we navigate through the days and weeks ahead. We encourage you to connect to the LCA community through the LCA Facebook page and check our website for Covid-19 updates.
During this time, we ask that you reflect on God’s Word in Galatians 6:2 “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Consider how you can help bear the burdens of others during this uncertain time. Pray for one another! Thank the teachers who are continuing to work for your students! Share with others in need! Observe the orders of the Governor and respectfully encourage others to do the same. Pray for our state and federal authorities and ask God to bring an end to the Coronavirus.
Future plans will be forthcoming in the days ahead. Thank you all for your patience.
