Justin grew up in Vermont and holds a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance and music pedagogy from Wheaton College (IL), as well as Master of Music degrees in both violin and viola performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Justin believes that collaboration is one of the most valuable components in music-making. Whether in a private studio or in a classroom, Justin seeks to teach his students the skills needed to foster teamwork and an edifying communal environment for wherever they go in life. Justin joined the Lighthouse faculty in 2021. His favorite Bible passage is Philippians 4:5–7: “Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
