Mrs. Scherschel earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Purdue University and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Indiana University. She has been teaching and leading in education for more than twenty years. Mrs. Scherschel has taught both middle school and high school math, and she has served as an elementary school principal as well as high school assistant principal. God has blessed Sandy with her husband, Dale, along with three children: Nick, Wyatt, and Maya. Her family lives on a farm in Lawrence County where they enjoy a little piece of paradise on earth. Her favorite scripture is Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
