Description
We are seeking an ambitious, full-time **Secondary Music Teacher** to join our awesome teaching staff in passing the gospel to the next generation through education.
- Develop and implement engaging music lessons that foster mastery of Indiana Academic Standards.
- Educate students in music theory, instrumental and/or vocal performance, and appreciation of various musical styles.
- Embrace a data-driven approach to education by assessing student progress through performances, rubrics, and formative/summative assessments.
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for music.
- Plan and direct performances, concerts, and chapel worship opportunities that enhance school and community engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred but not required).
- Valid Indiana teaching license (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong proficiency in music theory, vocal and/or instrumental instruction, and conducting.
- Ability to develop and lead ensembles, such as choir, band, or worship team.
- Experience integrating Christian faith and biblical principles into music education.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with **students, parents, and colleagues.
- Passion for fostering a love of music and worship in students.
